The Greer Coalition is a non-profit civic organization dedicated to informing the public about issues affecting the quality of life in Greer, Arizona and the surrounding area.

Our Purpose

Impacts to the environment and threats to the natural beauty, open-spaces and rusticity of the Greer community have recently become more pronounced.

The Greer Coalition's overall objective is to work with federal, state and county officials and other individuals and organizations in dealing with these issues.

The Coalition goal is to give Greer property owners a voice in addressing such critical community issues as growth and development, land usage, planning and zoning, fire protection, taxes and local ordinances.

  • Wallow Fire - In the wake of the recent fire in the eastern part of the White Mt., The Greer Coalitions objective is to provide a comminity outreach for those in times of need.  As we are all recovering from the horror of imagining our beautiful Greer valley go up in flames, we are both saddened and relieved as the news trickles in reporting on the condition of Greer. We wish to extend our deepest regret for those who are suffering the loss of their homes and or businesses.  The full extent of the damage is not anything that we all had imagined as we evacuated on June 6th, and recent videos and pictures of the aftermath of the flames show a community that can be save and rebuilt where necessary.  Damage was minimal to the main part of the village of Greer while the outlying areas such as east side of the East Fork of the Little Colorado River and the Wunderland Road areas sustained most of the impact of the fire. The Greer Coalitions goal in the upcoming weeks to months, maybe even years, is to provide a network of hope and help to those in need. We are a strong community and can overcome this crisis. If we all work together we can make Greer continue to be the paradise we all know and love.  Over the next few days we will be providing information and LINKS to useful web sites that hopefully will make recovery somewhat easier. If you have any questions or concerns of if you would like to lend a hand, please use the CONTACT US page to get in touch.
